I had a decent stay at this hotel, with clean facilities and a comfortable atmosphere. The room had a nostalgic charm that reminded me of my grandmother's place, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Although the breakfast options could use some improvement, particularly in variety, I appreciated the cleanliness throughout. Overall, it offered good value for the price, despite a few shortcomings in service responsiveness.

Our stay at the Palmer House was very enjoyable, especially with the beautiful scenery and family-friendly activities available. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic after long days exploring the area. However, the breakfast was quite basic, and the rooms could use a little more warmth. Overall, it's a great spot for a family getaway!

While the hotel offers a large and clean room, there are significant drawbacks, particularly in the mattress quality and overall décor. The location is convenient, allowing easy access to downtown shops, though the breakfast options left much to be desired. Given the moderate pricing, it might be worth seeking other nearby options.

The location was excellent, with easy walking access to downtown Manchester. However, the dining options, while included, could be more varied. Overall, it's a great place for families, especially with all the amenities available for kids to enjoy.

6.4/10

I recently visited the Palmer House and found it still had a lot to offer, but there were some drawbacks. The rooms, located in one of the Victorian houses, were tired and in need of redecorating. The road construction outside our building was extremely disruptive, starting at 7 PM and going until 6 AM. Although the staff was friendly and did their best to help, we were disappointed that no compensation was offered due to the noise issue. Overall, the charm remains, but updates are needed in rooms and communication about ongoing work.

Rooms
5.0
The room we stayed in was tired and could really use some redecorating. The layout felt more like a small apartment, and while it was spacious, the decor and smell felt outdated.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly and willing to help, but communication about the road construction was lacking, which was frustrating.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel is excellent for accessing downtown Manchester and nearby activities, but the street noise was a significant downside during our stay.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was simple and adequate, but nothing extraordinary. It mostly consisted of basic items, which was a bit of a letdown considering our expectations.
Facilities
7.0
The overall facilities seemed well-maintained, though the dated appearance in certain areas was noticeable. There were no standout amenities that enhanced our stay.
